When the going gets tough, use your barrel-roll maneuver to get out of harm's way for a few seconds. Decimate the enemy and collect power-ups that give you an increased rate of fire, a wider shot, or even up to two fellow fighters who will protect you from danger while giving you some cover fire to boot.
