Mexican-Jewish artist Santiago Cohen's illustrations have appeared in newspapers, magazines and illustrated books for GP Putnam, Zanner-Bloser, Houghton Mifflin, Golden Books and designed Christmas cards for MoMA in NY. He has been a film animation designer, and his work include: "Troubles the Cat" produced by Cartoon Network and Children Television Network, films for HBO (two of them won an Emmy and a Peabody award), openers for the French TF!, Santiago has had individual and collective art shows in New York and Mexico. His graphic novel "The Fifth Name" was awarded a grant from the Xeric Foundation.
