Reuben heads for the outskirts of Chicago in search of a legendary junkyard, and possibly a ride out of Illinois. When he gets there he meets an eccentric old man, with whom he has a lot in common, and as usual gets shot at by assassins. Raul and Luther arrive to save Reuben in typical fashion, and everybody sets off to find the heart of America. This issue also contains an 8 page Bob Violence backup story: Untitled, by Grant and Staton.
