Atlan takes Garth to the city of the Idylists so he can claim the power that is his birthright; However, hes met in the abandoned city by invaders ; Poseidon arrives and encounters his Roman counterpart, Neptune; the pair is captured by an unknown attacker. Garth wakes up from a nightmare in which a decaying Tula attacks him and kills him; after waking up, he asks Tula where shes been; Garth reveals his new costume and code name of Tempest. Slizzath raises the dead in the deserted Idylist city, so he will have subjects; Garth frees himself, but is confronted by two dead warriors; Garth discovers that his powers are gone.Tempest leads his army into battle against Slizzath; Tula is revealed to be a magical construct, not resurrected.
