NUCLEUS first saw the light of day between 1968 and 1974, during my high school and college days. Back then, I had the honor of publishing and collaborating with a talented group of young creators, some of whom have become legendary names in the industry: Dave Cockrum, Marc Hempel, Bob Smith, John Workman, Bernie Wrightson, Jeff Jones, Mike Kaluta, Howard Chaykin, and others. We were a tight-knit community of fans, driven by our passion for comics, TV, movies, music, sci-fi, and fantasy. It was a time of boundless excitement for all things cool.
