Captain Blue Hen Comics Open to Customers!

Captain Blue Hen is now able to open for customers! We could not be happier. We have missed you all SO MUCH!
 
New Hours: Wednesdays 11:00am – 6:00pm, Thursdays & Fridays noon – 5:00pm, Saturdays 11:00am – 4:00pm
 
You have been here for us through this, giving us support and getting comics mail order and curbside. Thanks! Now we get to let you back in—awesome! Help us do it the right way so we can keep it up!
 
In order to re-open and let you kind folks in we must do it SAFELY. To re-open and stay open we must be safe behind the counter and we want to keep you safe. So we have some Rules. We want everyone to safely enjoy Captain Blue Hen Comics so we are counting on you to help. It looks like a lot but it’s easy!
 
MASKS
Everyone who enters the store must wear a mask (fully covering the nostrils and mouth). If you are a superhero fan, haven’t you been looking for a good excuse to mask up?
 
HAND SANITIZING STATION
Sanitize your hands upon entering the store. We have hand sanitizer right inside the door and we ask you to use it before you will be allowed to shop. We’re sanitizing too. Help us be the cleanest comic store hands down!
 
SIX FEET of DISTANCE
Please keep at least six feet away from anyone else in the store when shopping and standing at the counter. We have reminders on the floor for you. Think of it as a game!
 
PHONES and KEYS in POCKETS
Please keep phones and keys put away. To minimize possible transfer from inanimate objects, we ask that you keep extraneous items, especially phones and keys in your pockets. You are going to need your hands free for all the comics anyway!
 
5 SHOPPERS at a TIME
The State of Delaware and the fire marshal has said we must limit the number of customers to 5 at one time. We may ask you to wait in your vehicle/outside until a customer leaves and we have to limit your time in the store. We can have times where shopping is by appointment. Fewer shoppers means more space for you and the comics!
 
SHIELDS UP
We have a big ol’ sneeze guard at the front counter. The clear plexi-glass shield is big enough to cover you from us and us from you as we transact our comic bookery.
 
KEEPING IT CLEAN
We will continue to wash our hands with soap and water as much as possible and in between we will use our own hand sanitizer. We will clean and disinfect shared surfaces before open, after close, and throughout the day. You never saw Jason this shiny!
 
CONTACT-LESS CURBSIDE, DELIVERY, and SHIPPING
If you would rather not join us back in the store just yet, remember that we offer services to get your comics safely. You can pick up your comics Curbside, get your comics delivered (if you live in our designated area), or have your comics shipped to you in the mail. Check the website and social media or contact us for instructions.
 
We want you to get your comics! We want you to feel safe! We want to stay open! We can do this together! We will all follow the rules and we will be able to see each other, get our comics, and have fun at Captain Blue Hen Comics. We appreciate your help with this. Remember: you are Captain Blue Hen!
