Threshold by Anke Gladnick is a self-reflection on their feelings around transitioning; trying to make sense of them by shaping an unfurling dream-like story framed with fastidious metaphor and pensive narration. For young adults and older.

Anke is an illustrator based in Portland, OR whose work has been published in NPR, The Washington Post, The Intercept, and more. They possess a sublime understanding of how to layer textures in a way that deftly evoke the feeling of something just hidden behind a veil of reality. Every moment, no matter how quiet it may seem, asks the audience to look further in. Threshold is Anke's debut comic publication.
