The first of a two-issue interlude focused on Bruce and Selina away from the madness going on in Gotham City, AKA City of Bane.
They finally address their aborted wedding...and Bruce does his best Thomas Magnum (Magnum P.I.) impersonation.
Chastity #1

The biggest surprise of the week is that I enjoyed Chastity #1!
The only things that I knew about the character going in were that she was a former Chaos Comics character and that there had been other Chastity books published before.
I read it because it's a new #1, it's written by a writer with a solid track record, and I was also pleasantly surprised by the recent Vampirella #1 by Christopher Priest.
Who's it for?
Fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Blade and Vampirella. The main character is half-human, half-vampire, and she doesn't put up with anyone's crap.
Daredevil #11
Written by Chip Zdarsky
Art by Marco Chechetto
The beginning of a new story arc, so this is a great place to jump into one of the best books that Marvel is publishing.
It also features the return of Marco Chechetto on art...and my God it's awesome! He's easily one of my top 5 favorite artists working today.
Event Leviathan #4
Written by Brian Michael Bendis
Art by Alex Maleev
Some people love Bendis' writing, and some people hate it.
I'm firmly in the "love it" camp.
This series has been top-notch from the get-go, and this issue is more of the same as we get closer to the true identity of Leviathan.
Oh, and Alex Maleev is bringing his A-Game each issue.
Invaders #9
Written by Chip Zdarsky
Art by Carlos Magno & Butch Guice
If you're an Avengers or Captain America fan, you need to be reading this series.
As with Zdarsky's Daredevil, Invaders has been consistently awesome from the beginning and deserves to be selling at least as well as The Avengers...which it's not in my shop.
Shame on me for not putting it into more people's hands because this is a must-read Marvel comic.
Miles Morales Spider-Man #10

My staff pick this week!
Miles has been through a lot these last 9 issues. And he's not sure if he's ready to continue being Spider-Man.
But when Peter Parker, (you, know, the other Spider-Man), comes calling with a request for help, Miles swings back into action, facing off against a familiar foe from the Ultimate Universe AND a new villain with a familiar face.
He even bails on his own birthday party to do it!
Ahmed's writing is stellar and any fan of Spider-Man and/or Miles Morales needs to be reading this book.
Oh, yeah, the Legacy Numbering on this...aka, Marvel Math...is #250, so it's an anniversary issue.
Powers of X #4
Written by Jonathan Hickman
Art by R.B. Silva
Do you like Mr. Sinister? Then this issue is for you because it features a whole heap of Sinisters.
Hickman is continuing to tell the most interesting X-Men story in years in this and House of X.
Riddler: Year of the Villain #1
Written by Mark Russell
Art by Scott Godlewski
Russell has become one of the writers where I'll read anything that they write.
And I've been a fan of Godlewski's art since Copperhead.
Put these two together and you get a very satisfying done-in-one tie-in to DC's Year of the Villain.
And by the end, this may be the last that we see of The Riddler.
